Getting There
Nearest Airport: Ouarzazate (OZZ) for closest access, or Marrakech (RAK) for more flight options
Flight Hubs: Marrakech: direct from Paris, London, Amsterdam, Madrid, Casablanca. Ouarzazate: Casablanca only.
Local Transport: Shared grand taxi or CTM bus from Ouarzazate to Merzouga (4-5h, 80-120 MAD / $8-12). Renting a car in Marrakech gives most flexibility (400-600 MAD / $40-60/day).
Visa: US, UK, EU, Canadian, Australian and ~70 other nationalities: visa-free for tourism up to 90 days. Non-exempt travellers can use the AEVM e-Visa.
