Our honest take
Milford Sound is often called the eighth wonder of the world — and on a rainy day (which is most days), it's even better because hundreds of waterfalls appear. Doubtful Sound is quieter and wilder. The Milford Track is the best multi-day hike in NZ but books out a year ahead.
