Sydney is expensive but genuinely liveable-feeling for a tourist. The harbour is spectacular from every angle, Bondi to Coogee walk is free and stunning, and the food scene (especially Asian fusion) rivals any city. Don't just do the Opera House photo — explore the inner west.
